NOTE: ERR6811 gasket not required - use STC50550 or ThreeBond 1215 sealant only. Allow 24 hours curing period. This MWM International LUF100430 rear oil seal is of superior quality to current Land Rover and replacement seals available elsewhere. With this MWM International rear oil seal the seal lip runs in the correct place on the seal journal of the crankshaft and has additional dust sealing. There are 2 bolt hole locations due to the fact that this seal is used in an alternative application (2.8), these holes can be disregarded or utilised if desired (drilling & tapping rear main cap required). This type of LUF100430 seal has proven in service to be substantially more reliable both in our own use and by many trade and retail customers who have switched to this type of seal due to reliability issues of other seals available elsewhere.
